Adoption Stages


step 1. register your interest

Simply fill in our “register to adopt” form here on our website.

You can also review our Adoption Application questionnaire here, which covers the questions we will need to ask to complete your registration.

step 2. browse our dogs

Have a look through the dogs we currently have available to adopt, or come and visit us and have a look in person! Please see our “Contact us” section for directions.

step 3. find your new family member

Take a look through our list of dogs and choose the dog you’d like to adopt.

step 4. come and visit us

If you haven’t already met your potential dog, pop in and say hi! See our “Contact us” section for directions.

step 5. home check

Don’t worry – these home checks are nothing scary. We just need to check your home will make the perfect home for your new pet. For example: they can’t jump the fences in your garden!

step 6. adopt your dog

Simply sign on the dotted line. We suggest a minimum of a £250.00 donation to Fall in Love with a Rescue, but any extra you can contribute could make the difference to another dog looking for their forever home.

step 7. follow up visit

If your dog requires a follow up visit once they’re settled in, we’ll pop in to check you’re both doing well and are happy

step 8. keep us updated

We love seeing how our rescue dogs are getting on in their new homes. A quick Facebook post every now and then is greatly appreciated!
